Hiking with Gracie

by Yesenia on January 13, 2015

Living in Georgia is fantastic. There are tons of lakes and mountains and trails to play on. Last weekend we went hiking along the river and had a great time. It was rather chilly at 40 dregrees but I got past the chill as soon as we started moving.

We had a great time! Gracie and I came across a lot of people hiking with their dogs. I plan to go out again on a regular basis. It was really fun being out there in nature together.

I brought a little bag with some essentials like water and snacks for both of us. Obviously we brought her Doggy Baby Bowl which is always handy and compact. We also brought bandaids and a whistle and other things that I thought could be useful in case of an emergency, my own emergency or someone elses.

I didn’t take any pictures but I promise to take some next time and post them too!

I hope you all get outside with your DoggyBaby very soon. It’s good for your body and your mind. And it’s good for your doggy too!!

Thanks for reading,

take care ~Yesenia

Four Long Months

It’s been four long months since Snoopy crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was the inspiration for the whole Doggy Baby thing. She fought bravely till the end. She volunteered her time at her usual assisted living facility until two weeks before her death. I hope I am as brave and generous when my time comes. […]
